DRESS CODE Please note: For all classes, students' hair must be back and out of their faces. All shoes can be purchased at the studio. Dress code is very important and is expected to be followed. If not dressed appropriately, children will not be permitted to participate in class. Ballet/Pointe: Black leotard, pink tights, ballet slippers, hair secured in a bun. Jazz/Musical Theater: Appropriate form- fitting clothing. No baggy shirts or pants. Shorts are permitted only with tights under them. Black or Tan slip-on jazz shoes. Additional character heels may need to be purchased for Musical Theater. Tap: Appropriate form-fitting clothing. No baggy shirts or pants. Tap shoes are at the discretion of the instructor. Lyrical: Dress is same as jazz; however, tan jazz shoes or foot-thongs will be worn. Hip Hop/Breaking: Street clothes are permitted, but NO JEANS! Students may wear athletic sneakers as long as they are clean (please don't wear them into the studio off the street); however, black hip hop sneakers are suggested. Cheer/Acro: Studio T-shirt, black shorts, and white cheer sneakers (Can be purchased at Amity Harbor Sports). Emphasis is on "teamwork" so all students should dress exactly the same.
